Linda Grahovec has been in real estate transactions services since 1986. She was a full-time real estate broker for 10 years and still holds her local managing broker’s license to stay engaged with the real estate community. She expanded her knowledge base by working for a law firm as a paralegal for 7 years. She worked closely with attorneys, lenders, REALTORS and consumers from negotiating contracts to escrow closings. The next open chair at the closing table was that of a title officer so in 1996 she began her title career at Lawyers Title. Linda spent 7 years working in a direct operation with responsibilities from new construction escrow to sales team management and then moved to agency operations. From 2009, she worked with local agents in Illinois and eventually expanded in into a 12 State Division role led by Rob Wineman. Her role expanded nationally with Erika Meinhardt and then in 2018 reporting to Steve Day (former President of National Agency and former President of ALTA).
Linda now supports national title agents for Fidelity National Agency Solutions (FNAS) led by Michele Jorgensen and Adeline Gibson. She grabbed the opportunity to work with these two amazing women starting in early 2024. Their focus on team building and leadership is second to none. Linda has had the opportunity to grow their education and training department, assisting in the development of their new website and digital marketing presence, as well as being able to utilize her extensive background in supporting the wide range of FNAS clients. Recently, Linda had the opportunity to event plan and execute the first ever Girl Boss Rally – how empowering!
Linda provides agent support in many areas, including marketing and business development, education and other instructional learning, internal staff and agent education on a wide range of industry topics, both in person and virtually, from conference rooms to large stages. She has presented for FNF, ALTA, several state LTA’s, FBI, HUD OIG, IDFPR, IRELA, NBI, October Research and other organizations across the country. Some of these topics include, Customer Service Back to the Basics, Digital Marketing Strategies, Engaging the Evolving Customer, The Difference Between Sales & Marketing, Cybersecurity, Fraud & Risk Management for Title Agents as well as REALTORS, Ethics in Advertising, Blockchain and AI, How to Design a Training Program for your Agency, and is a certified instructor of the ALTA Homeowner Outreach Program (HOP). Locally, Linda was the architect and main contributor to the creation of the ILTA, ITP and IEP Designation Programs. This program has had hundreds of graduates and remains one of the best member benedits for ILTA. This led to the creation of the National Agency (underwriting) UGuide and (escrow) EGuide for FNF Title Agents.
When not at her job, Linda and her husband Ed enjoy visits with their 6 children who all live within a couple hours and their 9 grandchildren (7 girls, 2 boys, in the order). Linda grew up and worked in her parent’s Italian restaurant, coached Track & Field for over 7 years and has always found time to volunteer inside the industry and at home – including currently as President of her local HOA. She loves cooking, entertaining, photography, sandy beaches and any water sport. Linda currently resides in the small town of Yorkville Illinois and escapes to Watercolor Florida whenever possible!
